I'm Logan, a Métis software engineer studying computing science at the University of Alberta.
I grew up on Vancouver Island and started working for real clients in high school: first a photo and video business, then a tech support and tutoring company that served more than 150 households before I left for university.
In the summer of 2025 I interned at Telesat in Ottawa, re-architecting parts of the system that decides where a constellation of low-earth-orbit satellites can land traffic. Java, TypeScript and Angular, code review, CI, and a large codebase to keep maintainable.
Right now I split my time between school and two products. Treader is a collaborative trip planner with a subscription business under it. Treadstone Designer is a 3D garage design and quoting tool I'm building for a family flooring company back on the Island, and it's headed to an interior-design conference.
In 2025 my team won natHacks with Instructive, a tool that helps teachers adapt curricula to students' individual education plans. I founded the Systems and Applied Robotics Students' Association at the U of A, and I still shoot photo and video for student groups on campus.
Away from a keyboard I'm in the mountains or in a coffee shop, ideally both on the same day.
